Busy Portlaoise road to close for installation of pedestrian crossing

A section of a busy road in Portlaoise will close this week to allow for the installation of a pedestrian crossing. Laois County Council has advised that the L-21205 Green Mill Lane, Portlaoise will close from the Junction with the L2120 Ridge Road to the Junction with Craydon Court housing estate on the L-21205. The section of road will be closed from 7.30am to 6pm on Wednesday, October 23 for the crossing to be installed and ancillary works. 


Meanwhile safety improvement works are being carried out on the  L1033 at Camross School. This road will be closed from 8am on October 21 to 6pm on Wednesday, October 30.
