'A kind and gentle lady' - Tributes pour in following the death of Laois woman Peggy Conroy

Margaret (Peggy) Conroy (née Healy) from Portlaoise.

Tributes have poured in following the passing of Margaret (Peggy) Conroy of Glenlahan, Portlaoise.

Peggy sadly passed away on Sunday, 10 November.

Many have took to RIP.ie to express their affection for Peggy and to share their sympathies with Peggy's family.
Among the many condolences, people have continuously described Peggy as "an absolute lady" and a "gentle soul."
One person wrote: "Peggy was a beautiful, kind & caring lady who will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her."
Another shared: "It was a privilege to have known Peggy. She was a lovely lady. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time. May she rest in peace."

Peggy's funeral mass will take place at 12 o'clock on Tuesday, 12 November at St. Peter and Paul's Church in Portlaoise. Interment will take place afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
