The child’s BMX bike was found off Greenmill Lane, Portlaoise.
Laois Gardaí are doing their best to reunite a child's BMX bike with its owner after it was found in Portlaoise.
Gardaí took to social media to say they had found the bicycle off Greenmill Lane, Portlaoise on Thursday morning, January 2. It is currently at Portlaoise Station for the owner to claim.
Meanwhile the local division has been busy over the Christmas period with a big focus on retail crime this year.
"During the month of December Portlaoise Gardaí, as part of Operation Táirge, were out and about on Christmas Beats. These beats focused on retail areas with the aim of detecting and preventing thefts from the retailers. Gardaí were patrolling and engaging with communities while on the Christmas Beats," said Gardaí in an update.
