Local business owner Jack Nolan recently celebrated his 70th birthday.
In a post on Facebook, employees of Nolan's Locksmiths in Laois posted a picture of them with "the big boss", along with the caption,
"A big happy 70th birthday to the big boss of Nolans Locksmiths.
"Jack opened his shoe repair and locksmith shop on Railway Street in 1982. He started out with shoe repairs and key cutting and has broadened his skills and team over the years.
"The business has thrived through the good and bad times and this year Jack will celebrate his 43rd year in business in the same premises on Railway Street but now has 7 employees and 3 locksmith vans servicing Laois, Carlow, Kildare, Offaly and other areas of the Midlands area, covering all aspects of residential, commercial and auto locksmithing as well as a thriving key cutting and shoe repair business.
"We at Nolans Locksmiths would like to wish Jack a very happy birthday and many more years of happiness and success."
