Meet Laois Rose entrant Ella, one of seventeen Laois applicants for the Laois Rose 2025.
Nineteen year old Ella Ryan is originally from Portlaoise, and is currently in Tipperary working in an extremely rewarding career.
Ella works in a dementia and palliative care unit, and will begin her studies of General Nursing in the University of Limerick this September.
While working in a career that is often busy and demanding, Ella still makes time for her family.

"Outside of work, I love going to concerts and singing, going for walks with my dog Minnie and spending time with my friends, my Mam who’s my best friend, and my boyfriend Eoin too," she told the Leinster Express / Laois Live.
"I also absolutely love spending time with my nephew Noah and my niece Éabha, and they always keep me busy!" she said.
Ella is sponsored by Laura Behan MUA, who she says 'always keeps her brows looking good!'.
"I’ve really enjoyed my Laois rose journey so far and I want to wish all the girls the best of luck on the 18th!" Ella said.
The Laois Rose Selection Night takes place in the Midlands Park Hotel, Portlaoise on Friday, April 18, when 17 entrants will be interviewed on stage by Ollie Turner, cheered on by their supporters in the audience.
The winner will then be announced who will take part in the televised International Rose of Tralee in Kerry this August.
