The new owner, Shane Murphy from Wexford, also owns KBowl in Kilkenny and has taken over the lease in Rock'N Bowl in Mullingar. Enda Murray is the new General manager. On Sunday, September 14 customers got the chance to see the upgrades and improvements made to the venue.

"The old entrance by the toilet is now gone, as this seemed to be a big issue before. Toilets have got a complete freshen up. Upstairs has been fully revamped, the roller disco, indoor soccer pitch and laser tag have all got a brand new look! The upstairs arcade has also been upgraded," a spokesperson for the business explained.

"Downstairs, the bowling alley was freshened up. We have put a new coffee dock in the soft play area, serving Essence Coffee and fresh treats daily. The mini golf has also got a freshen up. So in general a whole new look. We have also installed a fantastic new sign outside!

"The relaunch day was a great success, we offered half price activities for the duration, from 12-3. We had Midlands103 broadcasting outside, bouncy castles, a stilt walker and also a fire performer! Then inside along with the activities we had face painting and balloon modelling. We gave out freebies on the day including a soft play birthday party for up to 20 kids.

"Going forward we will be looking at doing more special offers. At the moment we have soft play half price Monday to Friday for the month of September from 10am-12pm. We have great plans for Halloween including a fancy dress roller disco! So keep an eye on our socials for all upcoming offers!"
