Iarnród Éireann will undertake major rail works across this weekend, which will cause disruptions to Laois rail services.
A series of works will take place between Heuston and Newbridge, including track crossover replacement, and culvert renewals.
Some Portlaoise services will be cancelled, and other services stopping at Portlaoise, Portarlington and Ballybrophy will require bus transfers.

On Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd November, all Heuston station routes will be affected. All Heuston to Kildare / Portlaoise commuter services are cancelled.
Services between Dublin and Cork, and between Dublin and Limerick will include bus transfers between Dublin Heuston and Portarlington in both directions, and operate to a revised schedule.
A limited bus transfer service will operate between Heuston and Hazelhatch, Sallins, Newbridge, Kildare, Monasterevin, Portarlington and Portlaoise.
Services between Limerick and Ballybrophy (via Nenagh) will operate to a revised schedule.

Intercity services between Dublin Heuston and all destinations are affected as follows:
Services between Dublin and Cork, and between Dublin and Limerick will include bus transfers between Dublin Heuston and Portarlington in both directions, and operate to a revised schedule
Dublin to Tralee direct services will operate between Mallow and Tralee only, with connections to/from Cork services, to a revised schedule
Services between Dublin and Galway, and between Dublin and Westport/Ballina will include bus transfers between Dublin Heuston and Kildare in both directions, and operate to a revised schedule
Services between Dublin and Waterford will include bus transfers between Dublin Heuston and Athy in both directions, and operate to a revised schedule
Services between Limerick and Ballybrophy (via Nenagh) will operate to a revised schedule.
All Heuston to Kildare / Portlaoise commuter services are cancelled.

A series of works will take place between Dun Laoghaire and Greystones, including bridge replacement and coastal defence works. These works were originally scheduled for 4th to 5th October, but were deferred to this weekend due to Storm Amy.
The following services are affected:
DART: All DART services are cancelled between Dun Laoghaire and Greystones, in both directions. Dublin Bus and Go Ahead will accept rail tickets for affected services.
Dublin Connolly to Rosslare Europort services will involve bus transfers between Dublin Connolly and Greystones, in both directions, and will operate to a revised schedule.
Track works will take place between Longford on Dromod on Saturday evening, 1st November, affecting the following services:

Customers on affected routes are advised to check times and alternative arrangements before travel at www.irishrail.ie or the Iarnród Éireann app.
