Portlaoise Parish lotto jackpot won for first time this year..
It's taken until almost St Patrick's Day but a lucky player has finally picked the jackpot numbers in the popular Portlaoise Parish lotto.
Last won in November 2025, a winner emerged from the drum when the numbers were drawn in the Portlaoise Parish Centre on Thursday, March 5 2026.
Congrats to James Mulhare on winning the €19,000 jackpot after playing online. Congrats also to the eight Match 3 winners who won €125 each.
The jackpot reverts to €10,000. MORE BELOW POST.
The draw takes place every Thursday in the Portlaoise Parish Centre. It can go to a maximum of €20,000 if there is a run of draws with no jackpot winners.
It can be played online via www.portlaoiseparish.ie with proceeds going towards supporting the parish churches, schools and communities.
