A hugely popular US food chain is set to open its fourth Irish location in Laois.
Taco Bell will open a restaurant at Applegreen's J17 Midway food court in Portlaoise, and are currently hiring staff.
The Mexican food chain is known for its burritos, tacos, quesadillas and specialties such as the crunchwrap supreme.
Applegreen are currently hiring team members, a supervisor and a manager to oversee the running of this branch.
In May 2025, Applegreen announced the opening of Ireland's first Taco Bell in County Meath, sharing that they intend to open several Taco Bell locations across Ireland over the next five years.
Taco Bell is the world's largest Mexican food chain, with over 8,500 restaurants across 30 countries.
An opening date has yet to be revealed for the Portlaoise Taco Bell location.
Currently there are three Taco Bell locations in Ireland:Applegreen Services, Baldrumman; Applegreen Services, Knocks and Applegreen, Ballincollig.
The Leinster Express / Laois Live has contacted Applegreen for comment.
