Portlaoise Circuit Court for money laundering accused

A book of evidence was served on a woman accused of money laundering in Portlaoise. 

Natasha  Callaghan, 38, with an address at 30 Slieve Bloom Heights, Rathdowney is charged with money laundering the sum of €12,600 at Portlaoise Garda Station on September 1, 2021. 

Garda Ashling O’Boyle served a copy of the book of evidence on the accused at Portlaoise District Court. 

Sergeant JJ Kirby said the defendant should be sent forward to the current sittings of Portlaoise District Court.

Judge Andrew Cody granted legal aid for a barrister and solicitor and sent the defendant forward to the current sittings of Portlaoise Circuit Court.
