Plans lodged for houses and three dozen apartments in Portlaoise
The plans would see two three storey apartment blocks and eight houses built
Plans are being lodged with Laois County Council to build 44 residential units near the centre of Portlaoise.
Kilkenny Investments Property Holdings Ltd is seeking planning permission for 44 residential units at Harpur’s Lane, Portlaoise.
The proposed development consists of eight two storey houses comprising four three bed and four two bedroom, two three story apartment blocks with 24 two bedroom and 12 one bedroom apartments.
The plans included the “continuation of existing access route from the adjoining residential develop- ment (namely Harpurs Crescent)” and new pedestrian access points from Knockmay Road and a new Harpurs Lane.
There is also provision for foul and storm water drainage, water mains connection, car and bicycle parking, public lighting and associated works.
