The land is situated at Aghcross, Ballickmoyler Co Laois.
A substantial parcel of agricultural land at Aghcross, Ballickmoyler, Laois was sold at auction on Friday, September 26.
The 22 acres of land with road frontage was withdrawn from public auction at €300,000 and sold for a considerably higher price in the region of €17,000 per acre.
The land is situated approximately 2 miles from Ballickmoyler, 7 miles from Castlecomer, and 14 miles from Athy.
Joe Coogan Auctioneer said: "The property was sold to a person from the locality."The auction was held at his auction room Ballycomey House, Castlecomer, Co Kilkenny.
