The committee of a Laois community hall have applied for planning permission for the change of use for a section of the building.
Ratheniska Community Hall Committee are seeking permission for a change in use of part of the existing St Aongus Community Hall to a childcare facility.

This facility will comprise of two activity rooms, a new exit door to the rear, minor internal alterations and all associated works.
The development includes the shared use of the existing hall, kitchen and sanitary facilities. The building will continue in use as a community hall outside of the operational hours of the childcare facility.

The community hall belongs to the Kildare and Leighlin Diocesan Trust, operating as a non-profit community run facility with a registered charity number.
