Bin company announces Laois collection delay due to death

A waste bin collection company serving Laois, Carlow, Kilkenny and Kildare has announced a delay in its service this week due to a death.

Ray Whelan Ltd has issued a notice to customers informing them of a one day delay.

"As a mark of respect to our colleague Rick this office will close on Tuesday 22nd.

Collections for this week will be one day later than usual. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis," Ray Whelan stated.

The text notice was issued on Monday, August 21.
