The death has occurred of John Bosco Delaey, Rathgar, Dublin and formerly of Portlaoise on June 5 peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital.
Beloved husband of Edel and adored father of Robert and Katie. Predeceased by his brother Loughlin and sister Mary. He will be greatly missed by his family, brother Joe, sisters Rena, Sheila and Madeleine, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing in Fanagans Funeral Home, 54, Aungier Street, Dublin 2 on Saturday afternoon (8th June) from 3 to 5pm. Removal on Monday morning (10th June) to the Church of Mary Immaculate Refuge of Sinners, Rathmines arriving for 10am Funeral Mass followed by burial in Mount Jerome Cemetery, Harold’s Cross.
Martin Murty Kearns - Ballyroan
The death has occurred of Martin (Murty) Kearns Glenbrook, Ballyroan, Co. Laois peacefully on 5th June 2024 surrounded by his loving family.
Beloved and devoted husband of Sheelagh and much loved stepfather to Tracy and stepfather-in-law to Steve.
Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Mai Kearns.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his family, his brothers Pat and Donal, Aunts, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, partners, his many nephews and nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces, cousins and good friends.
Reposing at his home at Glenbrook, Ballyroan, Co. Laois R32Y9P6 on Friday, 7th June 2024 from 3.00 p.m. with prayers at 8pm. Requiem Mass Saturday, 8th June, at 12 noon in St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyroan with burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
Timmy Delaney- Borris in Ossory
The death has occurred of Timmy Delaney, Ballybrophy Road, Borris in Ossory and late of Ballaghmore suddenly on June 3.
Reposed in Guilfoyle's Funeral Home, Castletown (R32 TN84) on Friday evening (7th June) from 7 pm with Rosary in the funeral home at 9 pm.
Prayers in the Funeral Home this Saturday morning (8th June) at 10.30 pm followed by burial in Churchtown Cemetery, Castletown.
Margaret Fitzpatrick - Ballyfin
The death has occurred of Margaret Fitzpatrick (née Walsh) Springfield, Ballyfin on June 4th 2024 peacefully at Portlaoise hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Dearly loved wife to Patrick and and cherished mother to Séan and Lisa. Deeply regretted by her loving family, brother Fint, sisters Brigid and Mary, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Also missed by her work colleagues at Portlaoise Garda station.
Reposing at Keegan's Funeral Home, Portlaoise on Friday evening from 5pm until 8pm with rosary at 7.30pm. On Saturday Funeral arriving at St Fintan's church, Ballyfin for 11am Requiem mass. Interment will take place afterwards in St Fintan's Cemetery.
As Margaret always looked on the bright side of life, attendees are encouraged to wear bright coloured clothes rather than black.

Shirley Power - Ballickmoyler
The death has occurred on June 4 of Shirley Power (née Cleary), Tireran, Ballickmoyler, Co. Laois formerly of 26 Woodgrove, Tullow Road, Carlow & 66 Lorcan Avenue, Santry, Dublin 9.
Died peacefully at home in the arms of her loving family after an illness bravely fought with dignity and strength
Predeceased by her parents Carmel and James, brothers Ronald and Vivian
Deeply loved and missed by her partner Noel. Heartbroken daughters Donna and Karina, adoring grandchildren Emma, Cian, Dylan, Ryan, Abel and Charlie. Devastated sister Michelle and brother Mark. Sons-in-laws Aidan and Dave. Dear friend and sister-in-law Dolores. The girl's father John, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Reposed at her Home - Tireran, Ballickmoyler, Co. Laois (Eircode R93 F7D2) on Wednesday 5th June from 5pm-8pm for close family and friends. Removal on Thursday at midday to Newlands Cross Crematorium, Dublin for a Celebration of Shirley's Life at 2pm.
The family would like to thank Dr. Irene Le Roux, Palliative Care Nurse Phyllis Howlin, and for the care Shirley received in her final hours from her sister-in-laws Catriona Kirwan and Bernie Dempsey. Also all the staff in Home Comfort Care.
