The death occurred of Ollie Byrne of Killabban, Ballylinan, Co Laois who passed away peacefully, on January 2.
Beloved son of Breda and the late Liam and much-loved brother of Willie, Bridget, Seamus, Claire and the late Pauline and Peggy.
He will be sadly missed by his loving mother, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunt, uncles, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends
Reposing at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Graiguecullen, (Eircode R93 ET80) on Friday, January 3rd, from 3pm concluding with Prayers at 7.30pm that evening. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11am in St. Abban’s Church, Killeen, Co. Laois (Eircode R93 HK58), followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Mairéad Gaffney Moore - Errill
The death has occurred of Mairéad Gaffney Moore 4 Village View, Errill, Co Laois on December 31, 2024, unexpectedly at St. James's Hospital, Dublin in the presence of her heartbroken family.
Predeceased by her dad Frank. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Eoin, her adored daughters Ciara and Caoimhe, her mother Brenda, sister Marcella, mother-in-law Teresa, father-in-law Mick, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, extended family, work colleagues, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Monica O’Rourke - Clonaslee
The death has occurred of Monica O'Rourke (nee Kelly) Clonaslee and formerly Moone, Co Kildare unexpectedly at home December 31.
Predeceased by her loving husband Tommy and her siblings, including recently deceased brother Pat. Deeply regretted by her loving family, Margaret, Tommy, Niall, Maureen and Shane, and their partners Kevin, Clodagh, Ha, Richard and Clodagh.
Sadly missed by her brother Eamon, brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-laws Jimmy, Michael, Bernie, Angela, Ray and Kathy.
Remembered fondly by her loving grandchildren, Daire, Kieran, Caoimhe, Cillian, Tiernan, Cian, Ruby & Ciara, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at The Heritage Centre, Clonaslee, on Friday 3rd, from 4pm with Rosary at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11am in St Manman’s Church Clonaslee, with burial afterwards in Clonaslee Cemetery.

The death occurred of Felix Bennett, Glendowns, Portlaoise and London on December 24 peacefully after a short illness at St James Hospital.
Son of the late Felix and Catherine Bennett. Predeceased by his brother John. Deeply regretted by his brother Noel and Richard, sister-in-law Margaret, nieces Jessica and Sarah, cousins, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Keegan's Funeral home Portlaoise on Saturday from 10.30 am. Removal also on Saturday to arrive at SS Peter and Paul's Chuch, Portlaoise for 12 noon Mass. Interment will follow afterwards in St Fintan's Cemetery Ballyfin. Family flowers only, donations if desired to Charity.
Late Ann Munnelly - Portlaoise
The death has occurred of Ann Munnelly (née O’Connell) of Portlaoise, Co. Laois, December, 29, peacefully, at Beaumont Hospital, surrounded by her loving and devoted children, Róisín, Pauric and Elaine.
Deeply missed by their partners Emily and Ciarán, adored four grandchildren Cian, Alisha, Odhrán and Córa, brothers Dan and Tom, nieces, nephews, relatives, extended family and a large circle of friends.

The death has occurred of John Nevin Mountfinn, Urlingford, Kilkenny / Tipperary / Laois
John passed away peacefully on the 30th December 2024 at St. Luke’s General Hospital Kilkenny, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his son Johnny, and his infant daughter Mary Janet, Sadly missed by his loving wife Winnie, and father to Pat, Teresa, Bernadette and Hughie, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives and many friends. Reposing at his home (eircode E41P981) on Tuesday evening (31st December) from 4.0’clock with family prayers at 7.0’clock, also reposing on Wednesday (New Year’s Day) from 3.0’clock, concluding with Rosary at 6.0’clock, followed by Removal to the Church of the Assumption, Urlingford (eircode E41 F866), arriving at 7.0’clock. Requiem Mass on Thursday morning (2nd January) at 11.0’clock, followed by Burial in St. Kieran’s Cemetery Johnstown.
