RIP Tunde Nwagwe
Condolences have poured in for Tunde (Christopher) Nwagwe who passed away on Friday January 17th.
Mr Nwagwe passed peacefully at the Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore.
He will be deeply missed his loving wife Marie, his brother Ike and family, the Moylan family, the family in Nigeria especially Ngozi and Uche, neighbours, friends and relatives from around the world.
Mr Nwagwe received countless tributes on RIP.ie which praised his character, his singing, the stories he told and the memories people made with him.
One tribute from the Ballyragget Vet Clinic read, "sincere condolences to you Marie and to all of Tunde’s family and friends. We are shocked to hear of his passing. It was a pleasure to meet Tunde and his beloved Ellie at the clinic. His warm smile and laugh filled the clinic with joy every time he came into us. We will all miss him dearly, he was a gentleman. May he rest in peace."
Another read, "Marie, I'm so sorry for your loss and sorry we haven't met. My younger brother and I grew up with Chris and Ike in London. Funnily enough Chris and I both made our lives in Ireland, me being up north, our younger brothers are both in warmer parts of the world. Neither of us would have had it any other way. Chris, was always a fantastic person, kind, supportive, thoughtful and generous of spirit. My heart is truly broken but I'm pleased he had a great life with, by all accounts a fantastic wife in you Marie. Ike, our families have been intertwined since birth practically and Marie and her family are now forever a part of you. We will miss him terribly, though I hope we will have each other, wherever and whenever we need and to remember the great times we had with Chris."

Another message said, "Dear Marie, I am deeply saddened to hear about Tunde's passing. He was a wonderful man and work colleague. His kindness, his ever present smile and his invaluable words of encouragement left a lasting impression on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Tuned often shared with me, on our lunch break walks, such meaningful stories about his life growing up in London, his family, navigating the challenges of life in his youth and ultimately meeting his beloved wife and settling in Ireland.
He truly embodied strength and warmth in equal measure.
Please know that my thoughts are with you during this difficult time. Tunde will always be remembered fondly and missed dearly."
Dynamite Guitar school said on Facebook, "We were extremely saddened to hear of the passing of our friend and student Tunde-a true gentleman who was a pleasure to know and teach. We offer our deepest sympathies to his wife and family at this sad time."
