Peacefully in the loving care of Beechwood Nursing Home in his 85th year on 11th March 2025. Predeceased by his brothers Noel, Harry and sister Lily. Sadly missed and remembered by his loving family, wife Ann, daughter Erica, son Winston, son in law Barry, daughter in law Orla, his seven adored grandchildren, Sarah, Megan, Rowan, Zach, Zarah, Evie and Ellie, sisters Doris and Muriel, brothers Leslie and Cecil, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Moran’s Funeral Home, Castlecomer, Co. Kilkenny (R95 PD82) on Wednesday 12th March 2025 from 4pm concluding at 8pm with funeral prayers. Funeral service in Mayo Church, Crettyard (R93 R621) on Thursday 13th March 2025 at 2pm, followed by burial in the adjoining churchyard. House private, family flowers only. Donations if desired to the Friends of University Hospital Waterford. “Safe in the arms of Jesus”.
Mary Angela Geoghegan (née Marum)- Dublin / Portlaoise
Geoghegan (née Marum), Mary Angela - 10th March 2025 - Late of Ashington, Dublin and formerly of Ridge Road, Portlaoise. Passed away peacefully in the loving care of her family and the staff of St Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown.
Mary will be very sadly missed by her husband Chris and children Joan, Paul, Christopher, Richard and Orla, sisters Theresa and Brenda and brother Noel, grandson James, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, son-in-law, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends. May she Rest in Peace.

Mary Burgess- Coolrain
The death occurred of Mary Burgess (nee Keogh), Coolrain, Laois and formally London. Died peacefully at home on Saturday, March 8, 2025. Daughter of the late Christopher Keogh and Mary Philomena Keogh. Predeceased by late husband Paul Burgess and uncle John Brendan Shiels. Deeply regretted by her sister Rachel and partner Ray, nieces Shannon and Aislinn, great-niece Aoibhe, stepsons Kevin and Jamie, God-son Craig, cousins Pat, Brendan and Hannah other relatives and friends. May she rest in peace. Reposing at her sister’s residence at Aghnaharna (Postcode R32N67W) on Tuesday evening from 6pm to 8 pm and Rosary on Wednesday at 8pm. Removal on Thursday to arrive at SS Peter and Pauls Church for 11 o’clock Mass. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Pauls cemetery.
Andy Molloy- Mountmellick
The death has occurred of Andy Molloy, Irishtown, Mountmellick and formerly of Mountrath Road, Portlaoise.
Died peacefully on Monday, March 10, 2025 surrounded by his loving family in his 86th year, following a brief illness.
Predeceased by his parents Andrew and Josephine, brother Seamus, nephews Andrew and James. Andy is survived by his brother John and sister Mary, brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, daughters Dorothy and Yvonne.
Andy will be sadly missed by his adoring wife Julie and their children Andrew, his wife Fiona, Jennifer and her husband John, Robert and Linda and her partner Vinnie, his Grandchildren Seàn Ronan Saoirse Lucy Caolàn and Róisín, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours and a huge circle of friends. May he rest in peace.

The death has occurred of Edward Dooley, Killamuck, Abbeyleix formerly Granafallow, Abbeyleix on 10th March 2025 peacefully at Fennor Hill Care Facility, Urlingford Co. Kilkenny. Predeceased by his wife Joan, daughter Elizabeth, his parents Michael and Catherine, brother Michael, cousins Laurence, Tommy, Frances and Harry. Deeply regretted by his heartbroken son Laurence, grandson Gerard Hennessey, devoted brother to Mary Coffey and Margaret Howarth (Canada), nieces, nephews, grand-nieces grand-newphes, extended family and all his friends.
