Sadly missed by his loving children Áine, Níamh and Declan, his dear mother Mary Teresa, sisters Ann Marie, Kathleen, Doreen, Evelyn and Bernadette, adoring granddaughter Caoimhe, son-in-law Lorcan, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Maher's Chapel of Rest, Portarlington (eircode R32 X5XV) on Wednesday evening 26th March from 6pm with Rosary at 8pm. Funeral arriving on Friday morning 28th March at the Church of the Assumption and St Patrick, Rathangan for Requiem Mass at 11am. Interment afterwards in St Patrick's Cemetery, Rathangan.

John (Frederick) Kennedy- Rathdowney / Stradbally
The death has occurred of John (Frederick) Kennedy, Church Street, Rathdowney, Co. Laois and formerly Timogue and Ballycoolan, Stradbally, peacefully, on the 25th of March 2025 at Oakdale Nursing Home, Portarlington, Co. Laois. Predeceased by his parents, brothers Robert (Bob) and Larry.
Sadly missed and fondly remembered by his sisters Rachel and Violet, brother Joe, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and his many friends.
Reposing at The Presentation Chapel, Stradbally from 5pm to 8pm on Thursday (27th March), with prayers at 8pm. Removal on Friday (28th March) at 1:45pm to arrive at St. Patrick's Church of Ireland, Stradbally for Funeral Service at 2pm followed by burial in Oakvale Cemetery, Stradbally. Peacefully in the loving care of The Little Flower Nursing Home, Labane. Predeceased by his parents John and Nora, sister Sheila and brother John. Beloved father to Órla, Áine, James, Clare, Ciara and their mother Chris, grandchildren Conor, Fionn, Dara, Roísín, Dáithí, Clodagh, Tara and Liam, sons-in-law Robert, Philip, David and Tim, brothers Willie, Michael and Pat, sister Eileen, nephews, nieces, neighbours, wide circle of friends and colleagues of An Garda Síochána.

Reposing at Suaimhneas on the grounds of The Church of the Annunciation, Clarinbridge (H91HW58) this Friday evening 28th March 2025 from 5pm to 6.30pm followed by removal to the Church. Funeral Mass on Saturday 29th March 2025 at 11am in the Church of the Annunciation, Clarinbridge. He retired and returned to Ireland in 2005 and settled at his house/farm that he built in Killeigh, County Laois in 1979. He has outlined his life’s work on his personal website at www.spiritualspring.org. His multimedia programs, photography and his 6 published book on aspects of spirituality can also be found on his website. Fr. Patrick was a keen gardener and he loved the humanities/spirituality and all God’s nature.”
