Dolores Dowling (née Shelly)- Castletown / Rosenallis

Dolores Dowling (née Shelly), Churchtown, Castletown, Portlaoise, Co. Laois and formerly of Lacken, Rosenallis, Co. Laois. Died April 24th 2025, after an illness bravely borne, peacefully surrounded by her loving family and in the loving care of the staff at St. Vincent's University Hospital, Elm Park, Dublin.

Predeceased by Angels, her parents Tom and Brigid Shelly and brother in law Pat Mahon.

Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by her loving husband Terry, son T.J, sister Marie, brothers Greg and Damien, mother in law, sisters in law, brothers in law, cherished nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends. “May Dolores Rest in Peace”.

Reposing at Guilfoyle's Funeral Home, Castletown, (Eircode R32TN84), this Sunday evening (April 27th) from 5pm concluding with prayers at 7pm.

Removal from Guilfoyle's Funeral Home, Castletown, on Monday morning (April 28th) at 9.45am to arrive at St. Edmund's Church, Castletown, (Eircode R32KT22) for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by burial in St. Brigid's Cemetery, Rosenallis, Co. Laois (Eircode R32Y611).

House Private Please.

Deirdre Costigan- Borris-in-Ossory / Mountmellick

Formerly of Roscrea, Co.Tipperary.

Peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the care of the wonderful staff at Mount Carmel Nursing Home.

Pre-deceased by her loving parents Teresa and Mathew.

Deeply regretted by her sister Edel, brothers Noel, Colm, Aidan, Rory and Brian, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great friends and former work colleagues.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing in Tierney's Funeral Home, Roscrea(E53NY70) on Sunday evening from 5.30pm to 7pm. Removal from her parents house(Loughnavatta, Birr Road,Roscrea) on Monday morning at 10.30am arriving in St.Brigid's Church, Clonakenny(E53 XP70) for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House Strictly Private Please.
