Pat Tynan- Portlaoise

The death has occurred of Pat Tynan, Borris Little, Portlaoise Co.Laois. Died 28th April 2025. Peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his father Ned, brother Brendan and his recently deceased father-in-law David Fleming. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Marie, son Ronan, daughter Orla, mother Joan, brothers Noel and Eddie, Sisters Pauline, Caroline, Annette and Joan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and his work colleagues and customers in Peig's Bar Portlaoise. Rest in Peace

Reposing at Keegan's Funeral Home on Wednesday April 30th from 6:30pm until 8pm with rosary at 7:30pm. Removal on Thursday to arrive at SS Peter and Paul's Church, Portlaoise for 11am requiem mass. Interment will follow afterwards in SS Peter and Pauls Cemetery, Portlaoise. The funeral mass can be viewed on: https://www.portlaoiseparish.ie/webcam/

Margaret (Peggy) Murphy- Portlaoise

The death occurred of Murphy, Margaret, (Peggy) (née Phelan), (Palmerstown, Dublin and formerly of Portlaoise, Co. Laois) April 29th, 2025. Peacefully in the loving care of the staff at The Residence Nursing Home, Maynooth. Beloved wife of the late Michael (Mick) and much-loved mother of Seamus, Catherine and Michael. Cherished nana to Mary, Lisa, Seamus, Siobhán, Jimmy, Emma, Ian, Sara and Orla. Sadly missed by her loving sons, daughter, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, son-in-law Martin, daughters-in-law Liz and Annette, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. May she rest in peace.

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Lucan on Thursday evening (May 1st) between 6 pm and 8 pm. Removal on Friday morning (May 2nd) to St. Matthew’s Church, Upper Ballyfermot arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.30 am followed by burial in Esker Cemetery. Margaret’s funeral service may be viewed online (live only) by following this LINK. Family flowers only, please.
