The death has occurred of Stella Delaney (née Graham), Wolfe Tone Street, Mountmellick. Died May 19th 2025, peacefully at Regional Hospital, Portlaoise.
Beloved wife of the late Michael. Deeply regretted by her nieces Mary and Michaela, family circle, relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest in Peace.
Reposing in her home on Wednesday from 5pm. Recital of The Rosary at 8pm. Reposing on Thursday from 3pm. Removal at 5.20pm to St Joseph’s Church Mountmellick arriving for 6pm. Requiem Mass on Friday at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

Christina (Chris) Gorry - Portarlington
The death has occurred of Christina (Chris) Gorry Congress Tce, Portarlington, Laois and formerly of Clonmel, Clonbullogue, County Offaly. Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Regional Hospital Portlaoise and previously in the wonderful care of the staff of Oakdale Nursing Home Portarlington on May 19, 2025. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Bridget, sister Bridget, brother Seamus and partner Tom. Deeply regretted by her loving sisters Jane and Josie, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.May She Rest In Peace.
Reposing at Maher's Chapel of Rest, Portarlington on Wednesday evening from 6pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Thursday at 12:45pm arriving The Sacred Heart Church, Clonbullogue for Requiem Mass at 1:30pm. Funeral afterwards to Cloncrane Cemetery, Clonbullogue.

Br. Aidan (Patrick) Marron - Castletown
The death has occurred of Br. Aidan (Patrick) Marron, De La Salle Brothers, Castletown, Portlaoise, Co. Laois and late of Bridge Street, Dundalk, Co. Louth. Died May 19th 2025, peacefully in the loving care of the community and staff of Miguel House.
Predeceased by his parents Joe and Annie, his brothers Kevin and Des. Deeply regretted by his sister Sr. Leonie (Maureen) and his brother Donie, extended family, friends and especially by his confreres in religion and the staff in Miguel House Care Home.
Reposing in Miguel House (R32NX40) on Tuesday May 20th from 11am with Evening Prayer and Rosary at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday afternoon May 21st at 2.30pm, followed by Burial immediately afterwards in the Monastery Cemetery, Castletown.

Peggy Meehan - Ballickmoyler
The death has occurred of Peggy Meehan (née Moore), Dara Park, Newbridge, Co. Kildare. Formerly of Ballinakill, Ballickmoyler, Co.Laois. Died peacefully, 18th May 2025, at Naas Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Wife of The Late Pat. Sadly missed by her loving son Colum, daughters Hilda and Yvonne, daughter in law Dolores, sons in law Jack and Jer, grandsons Josh, Evan and Finn, sisters Claire and Kathleen, brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours, friends and her beloved dog Tucker. Reposing at her family home from 3pm on Tuesday with Rosary at 7pm. Removal by Glennons Funeral Directors on Wednesday morning to arrive at Cill Mhuire Church, Newbridge for Requiem Mass at 10am. Burial afterwards in St. Conleths Cemetery, Newbridge.

Dr Fergus McKeagney - Portarlington
The death took place on the morning of May 17, 2025 of Dr. Fergus McKeagney, Belmont, Main Street, Portarlington, Laois.
Dr McKeagney passed unexpectedly but peacefully in Portlaoise Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his parents Charles and Oonagh. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Liz, his children Fergus, Neil, Sarah, Dara and Cian, his 6 siblings Francis, Fiona, Niall, Garrett, Eoin and Morgan, the family circle, fellow work colleagues and his patients over the years, neighbours and many friends.
Fergus worked as a GP for over 35 years in tireless service of his community in Portarlington and the surrounding areas while he was happiest surrounded by friends and family, he had a passion for music, golf and fishing.
Reposing at Maher's Chapel of Rest Portarlington (eircode R32 X5XV) from 5pm with Rosary at 8pm on Monday evening 19th of May. Removal from his residence on Tuesday morning 20th of May at 11:15am arriving St Michael's Church Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to St Michael's Cemetery Portarlington.
