John Kelly - Attanagh

The death has occurred of John Kelly of  Ballinalacken, Attanagh, Laois / Attanagh, Kilkenny on July 6, 2025.  Suddenly at his residence Predeceased by his wife Kathleen, mother Elizabeth, brother Pat and sister Betty

Forever remembered and cherished by his children Sean, Margaret, and Paul, sister Nora, daughters-in-law Siobhan and Nichola, son-in-law Gavin, grandchildren John, Catherine, Maggie, Cian, Liam, Euan, and Rory, great-grandchildren James and Adam, his wider family and wonderful friends.

Funeral Arrangements Later

Mary Barnett - Rosenallis

The death took place on Saturday, July 5 of Mary Barnett (née Keegan), Clonduff, Rosenallis, Laois

Mary passed away peacefully in her 75th year of life surrounded by her loving family and friends in the wonderful care of the staff in Esker Rì Nursing Home.

Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Mary, and her brothers Christopher, Jimmy and Paddy.

Forever cherished by her loving husband Jim, daughter Lisa, son-in-law Sean, and her grandchildren Sarah and Ciara, brothers Tim, Tommy, Dan and Noel, sisters Elizabeth, Ann and Bridie, brothers-in-law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, wider family and wonderful friends.

Reposing in Moloney’s Funeral Home on Monday from 4pm. Removal at 6.20pm to St. Brigid’s Church Rosenallis arriving for 7pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 11am. Burial after in St.Brigid’s Cemetery.

Tony Roe - Ballacolla

The death took place on July 3 of Tony Roe, Tinnaraheen Lodge, Ballacolla, Laois.

Tony passed away peacefully after a short illness borne with courage and fortitude at St James's Hospital, Dublin while surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Desmond and Dorothy and his sister Jennifer.

Tony is deeply regretted by his heartbroken wife Janet, his sons David and Trevor, his daughters Lorna and Alison, their mother Ruth, brother Clifford, daughters in law Mairéad and Sinéad, sons in law Jody and Donal, sister in law Ann, his adoring and cherished grandchildren Sam, Oliver, Oscar, Isaac, Heidi and Jessica, his nephew Gary, niece Amanda and a large circle of life long friends.

Reposed at his residence, Tinnaraheen Lodge, Ballacolla, Co. Laois on Sunday 6th July 2025 from 2 - 7pm. House private on Monday 7th July please.

Tony's funeral cortege arrived at Killermogh Church, Killermogh, Ballacolla, Co. Laois for his funeral service on Monday 7 July 7 2025 at 2pm with burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard.

Martha Jane (Meta) Mitchell - Errill

The death has occurred of Martha Jane (Meta) Mitchell, Kilmilan, Errill on June 30, peacefully in the loving care of management and staff at Droimin Nursing Home, Stradbally.

Predeceased by her parents Tom and Muriel, sister Eileen and brothers Willie, Robbie and Thomas who died in infancy.

Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sister Muriel (Dresing), nieces and nephews Heidi Mulligan, Christian Dresing, Ingrid Ingram, John Walsh, Gary and Thomas Mitchell, grandnieces and grandnephews Elijah, Emmanuelle, Caleb, River, Robin, Finn, Noah, Ivan and Autumn, sisters-in-law Deidre and Madeline, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at O'Sullivan's Funeral Home Rathdowney (Eircode R32 NY24) on Monday July 7. from 5pm until 7pm. Removal on Tuesday afternoon July 8. to Castlefleming Church Errill arriving for Funeral Service at 2 o'clock. Interment afterwards in Rathsaran Churchyard.
