Wayne Smyth- Stradbally

The death has occurred of Wayne Smyth, Hillview, Ballycoolan, Stradbally, Laois.  Suddenly, at home, alongside his beloved wife Andrea. Predeceased by his cherished mother, Maire.

Wayne will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his devoted wife Andrea, his father Roy, mother-in-law Anne, dear sisters Anita and Sinéad, special nieces Skye, Ailani, and Ava, goddaughter Adriana, brother-in-law Francesco, extended family, friends, and neighbours.May he Rest in Peace

Reposing at his home (R32E3H6) on Wednesday at 4pm with Rosary at 8.30pm. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church , Stradbally at 12 noon on Thursday followed by burial in Oakvale Cemetery , Stradbally.

Marty Knight - Portarlington

The death has occurred of Marty Knight, St Mary's Tce, Portarlington, Offaly. 

Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Regional Hospital Tullamore on Monday, September 1, 2025. Predeceased by his parents Ger and Madge, sister Kathleen (recently deceased) and all other family members. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Margaret, family Mark and his wife Rosemary, Gerard and his partner Asia, Denise and her partner David, Susie and her partner Stephen, grandchildren Sophie, Caitlìn, Jack, Chloe and Bella, brothers Gerry and Michael, sisters Marian ,Annie, Colette and Mag,brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. May He Rest In Peace.

Reposing at his residence (eircode R32 AW66) on Wednesday evening from 3pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning at 11:40am arriving St Michael's Church, Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to St Michael's Cemetery, Portarlington.
