Passed away suddenly at his home on the 5th October 2025. Predeceased by his beloved wife Betty who passed away on 23rd June 2025. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by his son Keith, Keith's wife Amanda, grandchildren Zara, Mia, Emily and Callum, sisters Margaret and Mary, brother Michael, sister-in-law Tricia, brother-in-law Joe, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends. “May John Rest in Peace”.
Reposing at Guilfoyle's Funeral Home, Castletown, (Eircode R32TN84), this Thursday evening (Oct 9th) from 6pm to 8pm, pausing for Prayers at 7pm.
Removal from Guilfoyle's Funeral Home, Castletown Friday morning (Oct 10th) at 10.30am to arrive at Kyle Cemetery for Burial at 11am.

Deady Bergin Caroline (Ancaster, Ontario, Canada and formerly of High Street, Tralee, Co. Kerry) died peacefully in Canada on 24th August 2025. Daughter of the late Maureen and Denis Deady.
A Ceremony to celebrate Caroline’s life will be held at Rath Cemetery Prayer Centre Ballinorig Side, Tralee, Co. Kerry on Saturday 11th October at 3:45pm. Caroline’s ashes will be laid to rest in her parents’ grave and immediately after, we will bid Caroline a final farewell in Fenit.
Missed by all who knew her and loved her. Le Cúnamh Dé.
Breda Griffin - Shanahoe
The death has occurred of Breda Griffin (née McDonnell) Terenure, Dublin and late of Shanahoe on October 6 peacefully at home, with her daughter Elizabeth and son-in-law Pádraig by her side.
Predeceased by her husband Charlie and baby daughter Maria. Forever loved and sadly missed by her daughter Elizabeth, son-in- law Pádraig, sisters Anne (O’Byrne), Kathleen (Lawler), Mary (Dunne), Cepta (Bronisz) and brother Walter McDonnell, brother-in-law Larry, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and her wonderful friends.
Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Crumlin Village on Thursday (9th October) from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Friday (10th October) at 10am in Church of the Holy Spirit, Greenhills followed by burial in Deansgrange Cemetery.

Suzanne Conroy - Rosenallis
The death has occurred of Suzanne Conroy (nee Garrett) Reary, Rosenallis, Co Laois and formerly of Naas, Co. Kildare – October 6, 2025, in the wonderful care of the Doctors and Nurses at Tullamore Regional Hospital and the Mater Hospital.
Following a battle bravely fought by Suzanne, she passed peacefully surrounded by her loving children Lauren, Rian, Fionn, Gabriel, Christian and Grace, her parents Mona & Des and her sister Deirdre and her close friends.
Pre-deceased by her grandmother and grandfather Kitty and Jimmy, Uncle Michael, Cousin Denise. Sadly missed by her brother-in-law Brian, nieces Clodagh & Zoe, nephew Darragh, uncles & aunts, relatives and wide circle of friends. “May Suzanne Rest In Peace”.
Reposing at Clonaslee Heritage Centre, Clonaslee, Co Laois (R32EH3F) on Thursday from 5pm - 7pm, with evening prayers at 7pm.
Requiem mass at Church of Our Lady and St David, Sallins Rd, Naas, Co Kildare at 10am, followed by burial in St Corbyn's Cemetery, Naas.
Chris (John) Carroll - Stradbally
Carroll, Chris (John) (Rathfarnham, Dublin and formerly Stradbally, Co. Laois) 30th September 2025, unexpectedly, beloved husband of Fidelma and loving Dad of Ronan, Alan, David and Ross. Predeceased by his brother Tony, sister Nora and brother-in-law Tony.
He will be very sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters-in-law Rebecca, Catherine, Dorinda and Karen, his eleven loving grandchildren Charley, Áine, Maebh, Caoimhe, Philip, Hazel, Isla, Caleb, Harvey, Ella and Keira, brothers Ned and Noel, sisters Angela and Pat, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family and a wide circle of friends.
Removal on Friday afternoon, October 10, to the Church of the Annunciation, Rathfarnham, arriving for 1.30pm Funeral Mass, followed by a cremation service in the Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold's Cross.

Tommy Game - Portarlington
The death has occurred of Thomas Patrick (Tommy) Game Portarlington, formerly of Surrey, England peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Regional Hospital Tullamore on October 7. Deeply regretted by his loving sister Bernadette, brother Michael, nieces Elizabeth and Lelia, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins, relatives and his many friends.
Reposing at Mahers Chapel of Rest, Portarlington (eircode R32 X5XV) on Thursday evening from 6pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Friday morning at 9:20am arriving St Michael's Church, Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 10am. Funeral afterwards to The Victorian Chapel at Mount Jerome Crematorium for Committal Service at 1:45pm.
