The death has occurred of Patrick (Paddy) Feehan, Johnstown Glebe, Rathdowney, Co. Laois and formerly Roscrea, Co. Tipperary and Borris-in-Ossory, Co. Laois, peacefully on October 19th. 2025, in the excellent care and love of the nurses and carers of Fennor Hill Care Facility, Urlingford with his beloved wife Mary-Jane and son-in-law Matt by his side. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Mary, his two infant daughters, grandson Jason, brothers Ned, Billy, John and Francis, sisters Dilly, Nancy, Vera, Bee and Dorothy.
Husband of his much loved wife Mary-Jane (nee Harrington) , much loved father of his son Michael daughter-in-law Paula (Portlaoise), daughter Noreen and son-in-law Matt Bergin (Kilbreedy), daughter Mary (Athlone), cherished popa of his grandchildren Stuart, Emma, Padraig, Mairead, Nicola, Jack, Josh-Patrick, Leah-Nora, his 10 cherished great grandchildren, his loving sister Carolyn and brother-in-law Seamus (Portaferry), brother-in-law John Harrington (Charlestown), nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends. Reposing at O'Sullivan's Funeral Home, Rathdowney (Eircode R32 NY24) on Wednesday morning October 22nd. 2025, from 10.30 followed by removal to Church of the Most Holy Trinity, Rathdowney arriving for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in Bealady Cemetery, Rathdowney.
Nives Egan-Langley - Ballaghmore
The death has occurred of Nives Egan-Langley of Ballaghmore. Nives (late of Mayfield House, Laois and formerly of Clone House, Wicklow), On 18th October 2025, elegantly and peacefully, surrounded by her beloved family, with songs, poems and stories in a room full of love. Predeceased by her darling husband Brian and their infant son Blaise. She will be so sadly missed by her heartbroken children, Tara, Alexandra, Jamie, Cory, Miranda, Cassandra and her son Maurice, sons-in-law Jamie T, Eoin, Rob and Rory, adored siblings Colette, Gemma and William, brother-in-law Sebastian, sister-in- law Ann, cherished grandchildren, nieces, nephews and wide circle of friends. Reposing at Fanagans Nichols Funeral Home, Lombard Street East (D02 W207) on Tuesday (October 21) from 4pm to 6pm - you are welcome to join us. Funeral Mass on Wednesday (October 22) at 10 am in Church of St. Mary, Star of the Sea, Sandymount, afterwards to Mount Jerome Crematorium.

Removal from her residence on Tuesday morning at 9:15am arriving St Michael's Church Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 10am. Funeral afterwards to St Joseph's Cemetery Mountmellick (travelling via her residence).

The death took place on Thursday, October 16, 2025 of Bernard Moloney, Parnell Crescent, Portlaoise Co.Laois and formally Clonan, Roscrea Co.Tipperary.
Died peacefully after a brief illness surrounded by his loving family. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Liz, daughter Caroline, sons John Paul and Mark. Stepchildren Rena, Ian and the late Linda. Reposing at Keegan's funeral home on Monday, October 20th from 6:30pm until 8pm with prayers at 7:30pm. Requiem mass will take place at 11 am on Tuesday in SS Peter and Paul Church Portlaoise, followed by interment in SS Peter and Paul Cemetery Portlaoise.
