The death has occurred of Breda Vickers Breda Vickers (née Mahon) of Wicklow Town and formerly Co Laois who passed away on Monday 24th November 2025 peacefully at St Vincent’s University Hospital. Predeceased by her parents Paddy and Bridie Mahon. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family, husband Sean, daughters Aisling and Lorraine, granddaughter Emily, siblings Mary, Gerry and Teresa, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephew, extended family and friends. May she rest in peace.
Breda will repose at Flannery’s Funeral Home, Bachelors Walk, Wicklow Town from 5pm until 7pm on Friday. Funeral arriving to St Patrick’s Church, Wicklow Town on Saturday morning for 10am funeral Mass after which Breda will be laid to rest in Rathnew Cemetery. House private please. Family flowers only
Mary Dowling - Ballybrophy
The death has occurred of Mary Dowling (née Bergin) of Knocknoo, Ballyfoyle, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Ballymeelish, Ballybrophy, Co. Laois.
Mary passed away on 24th November 2025, peacefully, at Aut Even Hospital, after a short illness. Beloved wife of the late Billy and much loved mother of Ann Marie and Thomas. Mary will be dearly missed by her loving family, sister Margaret, daughter-in-law Claire, grandchildren Aaron, Katie and Sophie, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Mary is predeceased by her parents William and Mary and brothers Dan and Mick. May her gentle soul Rest in Peace.
Reposing in Johnston's Funeral Home, John's Green, Kilkenny (R95XE00) on Wednesday (26th Nov) from 4pm concluding with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7pm.
Requiem Mass on Thursday morning at 11am in St. Joseph's Church, Ballyfoyle.
Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please.
John Costigan - Clonad
The death has occurred of John Costigan, Clonad, Portlaoise on November 23 peacefully at the Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his wife Ellen. Deeply regretted by his children John Joe, Mary, Margaret, Denis, Matthew and partners; brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at his home in Clonad (R32PC90) on Monday 24th November from 5pm to 8pm with prayers at 7pm. Funeral arriving to St Fintan's Church Raheen on Tuesday 25th November for 12 noon requiem mass, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Patrick (Paddy) Langton, Rathnamanagh, Portlaoise who died on November 23 peacefully, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his wife Mary. Deeply regretted by his son Patrick, daughter Yvonne, daughter-in-law Jenny, grandchildren Rebecca and Aaron, brother Jimmy, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours, relatives and friends.
Reposing at his residence R32A27X on Tuesday, November 25, from 5pm till 8pm with Prayers at 7pm.
Funeral arriving to SS Peter and Paul's Church, Portlaoise, on Wednesday for 11am Requiem Mass followed by interment in SS Peter and Paul Cemetery Portlaoise.
