Bridget (Beenie) Tynan - Erril
The death has occurred of Bridget (Beenie) Tynan (née Hayes) Errill, Rathdowney, Co. Laois and formerly Clonmeen, Errill, Co. Laois, December 8th, 2025, peacefully in the loving care of management and staff at Sacred Heart Nursing Home, Crosspatrick.
Beenie is the last remaining member of the Hayes family Clonmeen.
Predeceased by her husband Billy, brothers and sisters Michael, Jimmy, John, Maura, Ann and Catherine. Sadly missed and remembered with love by her nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of close friends. May she rest in peace.
Reposing at O'Sullivan's funeral home Rathdowney (Eircode R32 NY24) on Tuesday evening from 5 o'clock pausing for prayers at 7 o'clock. Removal on Wednesday morning to Our Lady Queen of the Universe Church, Errill arriving for Requiem Mass at 11 o'clock. Interment afterwards in Bealady Cemetery, Rathdowney.

Fr. Jim Fingleton - Stradbally
The death has occurred of Fr. Jim Fingleton (Ratheniska, Stradbally, Co. Laois and former parish priest of Christ the King Church, Cabra), (Peacefully), in the wonderful care of staff at Sacred Heart Nursing Home, Sybil Hill on Monday, December 8, 2025. Beloved brother of Tom, Har, Joe, Brendan, Larry, Mary, Nell and Veronica. Predeceased by his parents Har and Margaret, sisters Kay and Margaret. Very sadly missed by his brothers and sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins, extended family, friends, Archbishop Dermot Farrell and the priests of the Archdiocese of Dublin.

Reposing at the Sacred Heart Residence, Sybil Hill, Raheny (D05 XK58) on Wednesday afternoon 10th December from 3pm to 5pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday morning at 11am in Sybil Hill Nursing Home Chapel. Reposing in the Church of the Holy Cross, Ratheniska, Stradbally on Thursday afternoon 11th December from 4pm with Rosary at 7pm. Funeral mass on Friday morning at 11am followed by burial in adjoining Cemetery.

Mary Lawlor - Portarlington
The death has occurred of Mary Lawlor (née Dermody) Kilbride, Portarlington, Laois
Formerly of The Harrow Cross, Leighlinbridge County Carlow. Peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, December 8, 2025. Predeceased by her husband Lauri, son Lauri, baby daughter Kathleen, parents William and Mary Dermody ,brother Paddy, sisters Kathleen and Judy. Deeply regretted by her loving sons, daughters, brother, sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, partners, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends. May Mary Rest In Peace.
Reposing at her residence (eircode R32 F8R2) on Wednesday evening from 3pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Thursday morning at 11am (travelling via Foxcroft Street) arriving St Michael's Church, Portarlington for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to St Michael's Cemetery, Portarlington.

Eamon Lalor - Durrow
The death took place on Saturday, December 6, 2025 of Eamon Lalor.
Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family whilst under the care of the medical staff of the University Hospital, Waterford.
A devoted husband to his beloved wife, Julie, a cherished father to his daughters, Elaine, Anne, Frances, Teresa and son Eddie. Deeply adored grandfather to Jude, Daniel, Emmet, Jodie, Ellen, Tom, Jack, Isabelle, Anna, Tessa, Todd, Odhran and Judith. His sons in law Eric, Steve, John and daughter in law Ann Marie.
Deeply regretted by his sisters Marette, Gertie and brothers Tommy, Martin and Jim. His brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of dear friends.
Eamon will repose at his residence(R32 TK27) on Monday 8th December 2025 from 3pm concluding with recital of the Rosary at 7pm. Requiem Mass will be at 12pm on Tuesday 9th December 2025 in the Church of the Holy Trinity, Durrow, Co. Laois(R32 CK11)with burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Ollie Delaney - Mountrath / Camross
The death took place on Saturday, December 6, 2025 of Ollie Delaney, Rossadown, Mountrath, Co. Laois.
Peacefully on the 6th December 2025, in the loving care of the staff of Brookhaven Nursing Home, Ballyragget, Co. Kilkenny.
Ollie will be sadly missed by his loving wife Theresa, daughter Sheila and her partner John, son Gerard and his partner Elaine, grandchildren John Paul, Mia and Hannah, brother Denis, sister-in-law Dorothy, nieces Ann and Claire, nephew Dermot, family circle, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Guilfoyle's Funeral Home, Castletown, (Eircode R32TN84), this Tuesday evening (Dec 9th) from 7pm concluding with prayers at 8.30pm.
Removal from Guilfoyle's Funeral Home, Castletown, on Wednesday morning (Dec 10th) at 10.30am to arrive at St. Fergal's Church, Camross, for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
Patrick Conroy - Mountrath
The death took place on Saturday, December 6, 2025 of Patrick (Patsy) Conroy, Redcastle, Mountrath, Co. Laois.
Patsy passed away unexpectedly but peacefully, in the care of doctors and nurses at the Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise. Predeceased by his parents Fint and Molly, brothers Stephen and Joe, recently deceased sister Catherine.
Deeply regretted by his wife Alice, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Burke’s Funeral Home Mountrath eircode R32Y661, on Monday evening 8th December from 6.0’clock, concluding with Rosary at 8.0’clock.
