Late Eugene Lacey - Portlaoise
The death has occurred of Eugene Lacey, Craydon Court Portlaoise and late of Oulart, Co Wexford peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, February 12.
Beloved husband of Christine and loving father to Thomas and Eoin. Cherished grandfather to Molly, Harry and Annie.
Deeply regretted by his loving family, daughter-in-law Olivia, Sister Rita Gammell, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephew, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Also missed by his many friends and customers in Lacey Tarmacadam.
Reposing at Keegan's funeral home on Sunday, February 15, from 4 pm until 7 pm, with Rosary at 6.30 pm.
Removal from the funeral home on Monday morning to arrive at SS Peter and Paul's Church for Requiem Mass at 11 am. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Paul's cemetery Portlaoise.
Family flowers only. House strictly private.

Tomas Raftery - Portarlington
The death has occurred of Tomàs Raftery Whitefields, Portarlington, Laois, formerly of Monalea Road, Dublin.
Sadly missed and remembered by his beloved wife Ròisìn and his children Conor and Maggie, his mam and dad Maureen and Tomàs, his sisters Màire and Trìona, sisters-in-law Niamh and Paula, brothers-in-law Ted, Enda and Richie, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Tomàs is predeceased by his uncle Seàn, auntie Mary, uncle Paddy, auntie Peggie and mother-in-law Margaret.
Cremation Service on Saturday, February 14 at 1:45pm in The Victorian Chapel Mount Jerome Crematorium.

The death has occurred of Aidan O'Donnell, Main Street, Portarlington, peacefully at his residence on February 10.
Beloved husband of the late Frances (nee Mullany). Deeply regretted by his loving children Kevin, John, Evelyn, Malcolm, Kenny, Barry and Steve and their partners, his 14 adoring grandchildren, brothers Hugh and Rory ,the extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Maher's Chapel of Rest, Portarlington (eircode R32 X5XV) on Thursday, February 12 from 6pm until 8pm. A Private Cremation Service to take place on Friday.

Mary Kehoe - Ballickmoyler / Portlaoise
The death has occurred of Mary Kehoe (née Fitzgibbon) of Old Leigh, Ballickmoyler and formerly of Portlaoise peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on February 9th, 2026 at Beechwood Nursing Home, Leighlinbridge, Co Carlow.
Predeceased by her husband Richard. Beloved mother of Fiona, Richard and Barry and adored grandmother of Cíaran, Ava, Róisín, Vincent, Dylan, Liam and Oisín
She will be sadly missed her by loving sons, daughter, grandchildren, daughters-in-law Sibyl and Ann, son-in-law Liam, brother Johnny, sister Eileen, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, relatives and friends. May Mary’s Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.
Mary will repose at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq (R93 C863) on Thursday February 12th from 4pm concluding with Prayers at 7pm that evening.
Removal from there on Friday at 10.30am to The Church of the Sacred Heart, Arles (R93 KX60) arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery

Rev. Canon Laurence Dunphy - Cullohill
The death has occurred of Rev Canon Laurence Dunphy in his 90th year on February 9 in the kind and loving care of the staff of the Sacred Heart Nursing Home Crosspatrick.
A native of Bunlacken, Cullohill, Co Laois, the retired Parish Priest of Urlingford and Graine Co Kilkenny previously served in Killasmeestia, Camross, St John's, Kilkenny, and Glenmore parishes.
Predeceased by his brothers Liam, Jim, Mick, Paddy, John and Kieran, his sisters Sheila, Mary, Kathleen, Nancy and Agnes, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Deeply regretted by his 42 nieces and nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, sisters-in-law Annette, Marette, Breeda and Mary, cousins, extended family his many friends and parishioners and the priests of the diocese of Ossory.
Reposing in St Patrick's Church, Graine (Eircode E41 wR44) on Wednesday, February 11 from 6pm until 8pm and the Church of the Assumption, Urlingford on Thursday, February 12 from 5 pm until 8 pm concluding with prayers both evenings.
Requiem Mass on Friday at 12 noon followed by interment in the adjoining Churchyard.
