The death has occurred of Ann McNamara, (née Ibbetson), 20 Erkina Court, Rathdowney formerly Erill who died suddenly but peacefully at her residence in the presence of her family on March 25.
Predeceased by her parents Laurence and Marie, brother Jason and sister Adeline.
Sadly missed and remembered with love by her heartbroken family, husband Ollie, daughters Becky and Keira, grandchildren Lukas, Lucia and Noah, Becky's partner Marko, Kiera's partner Eoin, sisters Geraldine and Sineàd, mother-in-law Mary, father-in-law Ollie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at O'Sullivan's Funeral Home, Rathdowney, on Friday evening March 27 from 5 pm pausing for Prayers at 7.30 pm.
Removal from Funeral Home on Saturday morning to the Church of the Most Holy Trinity, Rathdowney, arriving for Requiem Mass at 11 am.
Interment afterwards in Bealady Cemetery.
Mary(Mae) Lewis - Portlaoise/Emo
The death has occurred of Mary(Mae) Lewis (née O'Connor) Newpark, Portlaoise, Laois / Emo, Laois.
Late of Newpark Portlaoise and Emo County Laois. Peacefully in her 99th year at the Regional Hospital Portlaoise and previously in the wonderful care of the staff of Oakdale Nursing Home Portarlington on March 24, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Michael.
Predeceased by her brothers and sisters. Sadly missed by her loving nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, brothers-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends. May Mae Rest In Peace.
Reposing at her residence (eircode R32 PR8F) on Wednesday evening from 3pm with removal at 5:20pm arriving SS Peter and Paul's Church Portlaoise for Reception Prayers at 6pm. Requiem Mass on Friday morning at 11am. Funeral afterwards to the New Cemetery Emo.

Michael Larter- Stradbally
The death has occurred of Michael Larter, 11 Courtview, Stradbally, Co Laois, formerly of 4 Doonane Road, Crettyard, Co Carlow.
Michael sadly passed away on March 20, 2026. Predeceased by his mother Mary, father Desmond and niece Danielle.
Michael will be sadly missed by his sisters Mary, Margaret, Samantha, and Lorraine, brother Desmond, brothers-in-law Stephen and Colin, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Coady's Funeral Home, Castlecomer (R95 AK38) from 4 pm on Friday, March 27 with Vigil Prayers & Rosary at 7 pm.
Funeral cortege arriving at St. Abban's Church, Doonane for Requiem Mass at 11 am. Michael will be laid to rest thereafter in the adjoining cemetery.

Martin Casey - Vicarstown
The death has occurred of Martin Casey, Mullen, Vicarstown on Tuesday, March 24 peacefully at home with his loving wife Lily and family.
Predeceased by his father Patrick and mother Ellen, brothers Patrick and Noel and his sister Phil. Sadly missed by his loving wife Lily, sons Patrick and Robert, daughter Helen, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, his beloved grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.
Reposing at Maher's Chapel of Rest, Portarlington (eircode R32 X5XV) on Thursday from 6pm with Rosary at 8pm. Removal on Friday morning at 10:20am (travelling via his residence) arriving The Church of The Assumption, Vicarstown for Requiem Mass at 11am.
Funeral afterwards to Moyanna Cemetery.
Late Pat Hennessy - Mountmellick
The death has occurred of Pat Hennessy, Melitta Park, Kildare town/ Mountmellick, peacefully March 25, at home, surrounded by his loving family.
Pre-deceased by his parents Paddy and Bridie, brothers John and Noel. Pat will be sadly missed by his loving wife Kathleen, adored daughters Connie and Madeline, son-in-law Gearoid, grandson Alan, granddaughters Rebecca, Katie and Lucy, brother Oliver, brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at McWeys Funeral Home, Abbeyview, Kildare Town from 3pm on Friday (27th March) concluding with prayers at 6pm. Removal from his residence by Glennons Funeral Directors on Saturday morning to arrive at St. Brigid's Parish Church, Kildare Town, for Requiem Mass at 11am.
Burial afterwards in St. Conleth's Cemetery, Kildare Town. Pat's funeral Mass will be live streamed through the webstream link below.
