Nine players from Laois were part of Athy Rugby's U-13 squad which travelled to Barcelona at the weekend to play a challenge match against Mar Bella.
The trip comes hot on the heels of the team winning the Leinster Premier Rugby League only two weeks ago against Enniscorthy in Portlaoise. Their victory over Enniscorthy marked the first time that Athy RFC had won the top ranking U-13 Premier League.
The nine players from Laois are as follows:
