The 6th year boys of Knockbeg College enjoyed a special graduation evening in their school recently, sharing laughter and memories with their families.

The students and their families gathered in the College's sportshall to mark their graduation from Knockbeg College.

Proceedings began with Mass, celebrated by Fr John Dunphy and Fr Shem Furlong. With the assistance of their music teacher, Ms Ryan, the students brilliantly played several songs throughout the evening.

The school thanked in particular Fiacc Brennan, Jesse McEvoy, Oisin Cummins, Rory Grufferty, Jamie Conway and Mark McDermott, for putting on a great show.

A slideshow of photos created by the students followed, with laughs and cheers echoing around the campus.

The students were then called up by their year head, Ms Fenelon, to receive a certificate from Mr Carew.placeholder image

The state Leaving Cert exams commence on Wednesday, June 7 2023.
