Portlaoise students start bilingual podcast to encourage use of Irish
'The GaelTalkers' are a group of students who are members of the Cumann Gaelach in Dunamase College.

Students at Dunamase College in Portlaoise have been busy recording a brand new podcast designed to encourage the use of the Irish language.
The first episode of 'The Gaeltalkers' has been released and in each episode listeners can tune in to hear all about the latest school news, common Irish phrases and interviews.
'The GaelTalkers' are a group of students who are members of the Cumann Gaelach in Dunamase College.
"The podcast discusses news from our Cumann Gaelach and school news. Also we will share phrases in Irish that people would be able to use to improve their Irish," said a school spokesperson.
"In addition to that team members will be interviewing someone in each episode - to help encourage them to use their Irish."
