Portlaoise College is celebrating the achievements of its students following the release of this year's Junior Cert results.

The results reflect the hard work of both students and staff, continuing the positive trend seen in the school’s recent Leaving Cert results.

Principal Noel Daly commended the students for their dedication and commitment and said: “These results are a testament to the effort put in by our students and the ongoing support they receive from both their teachers and families. We are incredibly proud of their accomplishments and look forward to seeing their future success as they enter senior cycle.”  Read more below or  click NEXT for more pictures.

In speaking with the students ahead of opening their results, Mr Daly also stressed the important role their parents or guardians made in supporting the students through the three years of the Junior Cert.

Special thanks were extended to Ms Bergin, the students’ year head, for her guidance throughout their time in junior cycle. The school and students also expressed gratitude to their team of tutors, including Mr Dunne, Ms Lawlor, Mr Knowles, Mr Carroll, Ms Tooher, and Ms O'Shea, for their consistent support and encouragement to the students over the three years.
