St. Fiacc’s National School.
A planning application has been lodged for a new astro turf pitch for a Laois school. The Board of Management of St. Fiacc’s National School has lodged an application to construct an astro turf pitch, associated lighting and fencing, and all associated site works at the school on the Killeshin Road, Graiguecullen.
"Should permission be granted it would be a valuable facility here and used by the many students attending school here," the application stated.
This application shares county boundaries with Laois and Carlow as such applications have been lodged with both counties.
A decision is due to be made by Council planners by February 22, 2025.
