Pupils at a Laois school were treated to a visit from Santa Claus in the run-up to Christmas last week.

His arrival at Camross NS was caught on camera as the pupils were delighted to welcome the main man to their school days before he was due in Ireland with their presents.

The video clip shows Santa pulling up to the school in his massive sleigh much to the excitement of the thrilled pupils and staff who wore Christmas jumpers and hats.
