There were great scenes of celebration in the Killeshin Hotel in Portlaoise on Saturday evening as Rosenallis AFC came together to mark the club's 50th anniversary. A well-known former soccer star, John Aldridge, was in attendance on the night. The former Liverpool and Ireland player scored 362 goals in his Liverpool career while also scoring 19 times in 69 caps for the Republic of Ireland soccer team from 1986-1996.
