Saturday saw a special occasion in Rossleighan Park featuring the Rose of Tralee escorts. Portlaoise's Mark Dunne captained last year's escorts as they faced off against this year's escorts.

A thrilling game ended in a 3-3 draw, and the 2025 escorts kept their cool to claim victory on penalties. Adding to the occasion, several Roses were in attendance on the sidelines, lending their support and cheering on the teams throughout the game.
