Portlaoise’s Colin Conroy has reached a special milestone with Treaty United, becoming just the fifth Senior Men’s player to make 100 competitive appearances for the club.
The 22-year-old midfielder, who began his career with Bohemians before joining Treaty in 2022, brought up the landmark in Treaty’s clash with league leaders Dundalk on Friday, August 22. It proved a tough evening for the Limerick side, who were beaten 7-0 by the table-toppers, but it didn’t take away from Conroy’s achievement.
Now in his fourth season with Treaty, Conroy has been a consistent performer in midfield and a key part of the squad as the club continues to grow in the League of Ireland. Treaty currently sit fifth in the First Division table, firmly in the promotion playoff places.
