Seven Laois players have been selected on the MSL squad for this year’s Kennedy Cup which takes place in Limerick in June.
An Emerging Talent side has been in place for the last number of months with players from teams across the league taking part.
The coaches have now reduced the squad to the 20 which will represent the league at the prestigious tournament.
Oisin Murray and Cain Barrett have been selected from Clonaslee Utd, Michael Conlon and Chris Moran will represent T&S Utd while Portlaoise’s trio selected are Sean O’Neill, Jack Priestly and James Rickard.
The League we would like to thank the Coaches and all the players for their participation in the Emerging Talent side of the last number of months and hope all have enjoyed the experience and learned from each other.
The league would like to thank all the parents who have brought their children each week and hope that the children have learnt from the experience.
The coaches also thanked the players noting that it was fantastic working with all the players from all clubs in the Midlands. All coaches we would like to thank all players that were involved in the emerging talent and wish them the best for the future.
