To mark the milestone celebration of ten years in business as Scissor Sisters Jackie Dowling is rebranding the salon as Jackie’s Hair Studio.
A party was held in the beautifully decorated premises in Mountrath last Friday night which was attended by family, friends, customers and well wishers, along with a dazzling collection of local sporting celebrities.
At the party Jackie said “I have a truly professional and creative team alongside me in Laura and Lily. For inspiration and to keep a head of the latest trends our salon regularly attends professional hair and fashion events.
“We are a Wella stocked salon and are proud of our association with Wella, whose expert advice has been fundamental in assisting us to meet our professional and training goals. Having Wella on board is one of the reasons we continue to be a successful and thriving salon,” she added.
“We were the first salon in Laois to retail the Nioxin brand. Nioxin has found inspiration in skincare to supply advanced treatment for thinning hair.
Because scalp health creates hair health this delivers hair with a thicker fuller appearance. Please drop into the salon for a free consultation and we can advise which products within this range are best suited to restoring your crowning glory,” continued Jackie.
The proud salon owner then went on to thank some of stars who attended on the night - Senior Hurler of the Year 2013 Zane Keenan, All Star Laura Dunne (two All Stars in 2013 and 2014), Laois Minor Hurler of the Year 2014 Evan Cuddy, three Time All Ireland Dancing Champion Shauna Tierney from the Richie Lawless Irish Dancing Academy Portlaoise, Martin McDonald 3rd in the World Master Mountain run 2014 with 7 national medals 5 gold and 2 silver. She also thanked Eugene Dunne and Liam Delaney for their support as well.
“Finally I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my loyal customers for their support on the night and during the last 10 years. I wish you all the best for 2015.”
