The Organisation

Laois Partnership is a well-established Local Development Company with a strong track record and has been in operation since 1996. As a not-for-profit entity with Charitable Status, Laois Partnership specialises in the fields of social inclusion, rural development, childcare, training & education. Through the application of resources at our disposal, we strive to support, assist and engage in social progression, the facilitation of rural and urban regeneration, the promotion of wellbeing across local communities and the promotion of actions to address the causes and consequences of social and economic deprivation and poverty.

The Role

Reporting to the Chairperson and Board of Laois Partnership, the Chief Executive Officer will take responsibility for the strategic & operational management of the organisation. This is a hands-on role leading a team of dedicated staff where driving decisions & empowering people at all levels will be required. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about improving outcomes for communities experiencing many challenges and those who are most at risk of poverty and social exclusion. This role requires an onsite presence and is Portlaoise based.
