Claire Murphy has opened up her Hair & Makeup studio in Studio 5, The Office Box, Kea-Lew Business Park, Portlaoise, Co. Laois

"All of my work is based on the art of making you look radiant. Makeup is truly an art form, and it took years of practice before I decided to take that leap, and start my own business. I am passionate about what I do, and love to spread my love for makeup and hair to all of my clients. I have years of experience creating hair and makeup in salons and for television," Claire said.

I would describe my style of makeup as timeless soft glam, but whatever your preferred style of makeup is, I can adapt my style to suit yours. My aim is to make every bride look and feel effortlessly beautiful.

Personal Makeover: Whether it’s a hen party, graduation, debs, communion, confirmation, christening or birthday, I cater makeup needs covered for any special occasion.For a makeup application, you are welcome to come to my studio room for your makeup appointment. Group bookings and callouts available on request.

Makeup Lessons: This comprehensive 2 hour lesson is for anyone from complete beginners to makeup enthusiasts looking to upskill and learn how to apply their own makeup professionally. This 1:1 environment provides a great opportunity to ask your beauty and makeup questions under the guidance of a professional makeup artist.

I will teach you how to ‘know your own face’ and show you how to apply your makeup flawlessly to suit your skin type, face shape, eye shape and colouring. You will leave with a personalised makeup look which you can feel confident recreating at home.
