The September/October edition of Laois Life is packed full of fantastic local content

Autumn is the perfect time to settle in with the latest edition of Laois Life.

Our team has been gathering inspiring stories from across the county - celebrating the people, places and passions that make County Laois unique.

This issue is filled with inspiring interviews, local voices, and a complete guide to what’s on around the county in the weeks ahead.

We’re delighted to sit down with Professor Noel Fitzpatrick, the world-renowned veterinary surgeon and much-loved TV personality known as The Supervet, who reflects on his Laois roots and remarkable career.

Niamh Maher, the creative talent behind Aghaboe Farm Foods, shares her award-winning baking tips, while in our culture pages Camross artist Peter Dooley tells us about honing his craft and his striking new bog oak sculpture, The Tree of Life, unveiled during Heritage Week.

Food lovers will enjoy our feature with Cullohill native Rory O’Connell - TV chef and co-founder of Ballymaloe Cookery School, who explains how he continues to keep his passion for cooking alive.

We also speak to Portarlington wedding photographer Con Murphy on changing trends in the wedding world, while Laois businessman Michael Fitzpatrick gives a candid insight into his Seven Deadly Sins.

From food and fashion to culture, creativity, and community, it’s all waiting for you inside 100 pages of fresh, local content. So settle in, relax, and enjoy this season’s edition of Laois Life.
