On Thursday, July 5th, the Camross U-14 ladies make their way to Dublin to represent Laois for the third year in a row at Feile na Gael having been in Galway and Clare the previous two years.
The panel of 29 girls have been preparing well for this feile with numerous training sessions and practice matches. The management team of Brendan Lowry, manager and Fran Hogan and Tina Cuddy his selectors have left no stone unturned in the run up to this competition.
The girls head off early Thursday morning to their host club St. Oliver Plunketts/Eoin Rua. We wish the girls the very best of luck for the weekend and a huge following of supporters are heading up from Camross.
The club would like to thank all who helped kit the girls out for this occasion, all who sold and bought silver circle tickets, Sean and Pauline Bergin, The Camross Inn for the hamper draw, Michael & Catherine Lalor for sponsorship of socks to team and anyone else who supported in any way.
A huge amount of work goes in to getting everything ready for feile so a big thank you to the camogie committee.
Lets hope we will be welcoming home some silverware on Saturday evening.
