The home side played with the advantage of a strong wind in the opening half. Clough-Ballacolla were the better team throughout this game with Mark Hennessy and Stephen Maher both finding the net before the break.

The home side had a nine-point lead at the break on a scoreline of 2-7 to 0-4.
