Stunning Laois comeback secures Leinster crown
Laois captured the Leinster title for the first time since 2007 with a thrilling late finale that saw them edge past Meath in Carlow on Sunday afternoon.
It had all looked beyond them as they trailed by a goal with only three minutes remaining but an Olwyn Farrell goal levelled the tie and the stage was set for young forward Sinead Doogue to belie her age with a pressure-filled point to snatch victory in the dying seconds.
