The Laois and Offaly branch of the Retired Nurses Association of Ireland (RNAI) celebrated their 30th anniversary in the Portlaoise Parish Centre this week.
The RNAI is a national organisation for retired nurses of all disciplines and its aim is to support nurses. The group held their first ever meeting in the Killeshin Hotel in Portlaoise in September, 1996.
The local Laois and Offaly branch celebrated the 30th anniversary by gathering in the Portlaoise Parish Centre, where the branch regularly meet to discuss ongoing issues in the lives of retired nurses.
