The walls of Portlaoise have become a canvas for an internationally established street artist Madderdoit who is working on his latest and biggest project this week.
The artist who is featured in US and European art galleries, is painting a mural that is over 500 feet long, in a collaboration with Portlaoise Tidy Towns and Laois County Council.
Madderdoit moved to Laois from the UK three years ago and his skills are being put to great use since brightening up the county, with an exhibition upcoming in the Dunamaise Arts Centre from August 1, and another from his Electric Youth workshops to feature at Electric Picnic.
