Met Éireann's Easter Bank Holiday Weekend weather forecast is not such a sunny one with dry conditions to begin with but the outlook is for unsettled with rain and showers, along with breezy conditions at times.
The forecaster has tweeted that it will be a a mixed picture this weekend with occasional rain or showers, but equally long dry spells too, especially Saturday. It says it will be pleasantly mild where sunny spells breakthrough.
However, the outlook is unsettled and there could event be a storm brewing with 'wind warnings' expected. SEE DETAILS BELOW TWEET.

Saturday: Mostly dry on Saturday with a mix of cloud and sunshine. It will tend to be cloudier overall over the western half of the country with patches of light rain or drizzle possible near Atlantic coasts. Cloud will thicken nationwide in the evening. Top temperatures of 11 to 15 degrees, in a mostly moderate southeast breeze.
A mostly cloudy night with scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle, most frequent in the southwest. Lowest temperatures of 6 to 10 degrees in a moderate southeasterly wind.
EASTER SUNDAY: On Sunday morning it will be largely dry in the east with some sunshine at times, but it will be cloudy in the west with outbreaks of rain and drizzle. This will extend eastwards to the rest of the country through the day and the rain will turn heavier in the west and southwest. Highest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees with a moderate to fresh south to southeast wind.
The cloud and rain will clear eastwards early on Sunday night and will be followed by clear spells and scattered showers. Lowest temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees in a light south to southwest wind.
MONDAY: On Monday there will be widespread showers with some sunshine in between. Some of the showers will be heavy with hail and thunder possible. Highest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees in a moderate to fresh and blustery southwest wind.
The showers will become confined to northern areas early on Monday night but cloud will build from the southwest overnight, bringing patches of rain and drizzle to west and southwest coastal regions. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 5 degrees, with light to moderate west to southwest winds, becoming southerly later.
TUESDAY: Wet and windy on Tuesday with wind warnings likely to be issued. There is potential for impactful conditions so stay up to date with the forecast for your local area.
FURTHER OUTLOOK: Remaining generally unsettled for the rest of the week.
